Retroactive Guideline changes are here! And so are changes to the artist formerly known as compassionate release (now reductions in sentence motions)!
Is your phone ringing off the hook with former clients and family members asking about getting their sentence reduced? Never fear! Of course, clients can retain counsel for these motions if they choose. The Federal Defender Program will also be stepping up to assist all indigent clients who are eligible.
